So the final scene is written. Sadly it was completely predictable. No twists and turns, no surprises. Very unsatisfying for the discriminating reader, so I can only rely on that kick-butt exit line for my memorable ending.
Here goes, apropos of everything (sorry of those of you not involved, you may not get this. for the rest of you…it is so accurate on so many levels!):
From the infamous Charlie Sheen (how appropriate is that!) on his firing from the hit (but ridiculous) sitcom Two and a Half Men.
“…and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Oh, hello Sunday afternoons. Where have you been for the last 10 years?
Vickie, I’m still using your wonderful ‘Wheel of Misfortune” workshop as part of my characterization class. I’m at Savvy Authors this week and using your plotting wheel tomorrow–with full credit to you, of course. It really is an ingenious concept so I wanted to let you know how much it’s helped other authors.
Best, Carolyn
Thanks, Caroline. I taught a full week course on it for RWA University this week. The lessons should be archived. If people want more info or the updated template, you can send them there (if they’re RWA members).
